We are directed by Chad Knipfer. Chad has been an active barbershopper for 27 years, having sung in numerous quartets and directed various choruses. He received his Bachelor of Arts (music) degree in 2003 from Doane University, under the direction and mentorship of a previous Old Capitol Chorus director, Larry Monson. Chad loves a capella music and sharing his knowledge with men of all walks of life, ages, and abilities. Music plays such an important part in a positive way of life and he hopes others can feed their souls through hard work and success in creating wonderful sounds with others with the same goals. He's very excited for what the future of OCC has in store for its members and enjoys sharing our journey throughout our community.
